As one of the few people who doesn't hate sakura I really feel like they haven't done her justice, I mean they were so close to having a really interesting character with her having to deal with both, wanting Sasuke back but also seeing how selfish it is to make naruto go through all that for her, And then they do stuff like having her try to kill him by stabbing him with a kunai.
I don't think any important character in the entire show has ever been killed with a kunai so at this point it's basically signalling to the audience that "this attack isn't going to work"
Sakura must know that she couldn't defeat Sasuke, even if Sasuke was blindfolded, unconscious, and had tied behind his back sakura STILL couldn't kill him!
BUT if she really had to try to kill him they could have at least shown her using her doing the big chakra fist attack, I mean it's literally the only attack she has that's ever done anything.

By having sakura attack Sasuke this way it's like she just went, "huh, I guess Sasuke isn't very good, well, in that case, I'm going to kill him" as if she could do it at any time. Sasuke's allways been stronger than her, now more than ever. I get that she's upset but she clearly thought some of this though since she brought along so many people, so it makes it all the more annoying when she basically goes out to get herself killed.

Sakura deserves better, this is just bad writing.
